Rare Find on the Secondary Market
What we have here is a Special Production Piece by Panerai they called "Shadow Case" that was delivered for promotion to some VIPs. Panerai did not mark the watch with any Series or Millesimation numbers on the case back. These were not suppose to hit the secondary market, so to be able to have one on hand is very rare!

Per Panerai Website, using the serial number, it is marked at a PAMC0523, with the "C" denoting it is a Corporate Piece.

Doing some research about the watch, I found this information from the Panerai Watch Lounge Site, showing the breakdown of what all the stampings/numbers on case back means. Found on section 2.2, they talk about the Rarity of a "Shadow Case", proving this watch we have on hand is one of the rare pieces that got to the secondary market.

Z-Serial, Circa 2006 and comes as a Full Set.
1-owner, never serviced, case remains unpolished, showing some battle scars, worn in combat in the Middle East. Original Warranty Certificate properly named and dated. True full set down to the purchase reciept, a thank you letter from the Rolex AD-CEO and a copy of his military card. Truly a watch with great provenance.
